The Undercover x Nike Dunk High 1985 “UBA” is a collaboration between Jun Takahashi’s Japan based streetwear brand and Nike on the retro basketball shoe in a colorway dedicated to a fictional basketball league. The “UBA” or “Undercover Basketball Association” is Takahashi’s take on the Dunk that revives its original 1985 style with true-to-original panel shapes and proportions. Details include a pebbled Gym Red leather base with contrasting black leather overlays and Swoosh branding. White “UBA” and “Undercover Basketball Association” detailing appears on the lateral side of the heel. Like the first production Dunk, the Dunk ‘85 features a tall tongue that extends past the collar. Dual “Undercover” and “Nike” branding is found on the tongue tag. Takahashi puts the finishing touch on his “UBA” Dunk collaboration by painting speckles over the Sail rubber midsole. Release date: July 28, 2021
