CRL 1/4" Prismatic Glass Drill

The CRL Prismatic Glass Drill is designed for drilling holes in flat glass applications. It features a tungsten carbide tip intended for extended service life and consistent drilling performance. The drill has an extended tip length to support controlled, accurate hole formation during use. This drill is intended for use with glass drilling machines such as the CRL2, SDM4, and 41 models, or with a securely mounted electric drill. Use with hand brace drills is not recommended. During operation, a suitable coolant should be applied to help manage heat buildup. For safe operation, appropriate personal protective equipment such as gloves and eye protection should be worn at all times. Drilling should be performed on a flat, horizontal surface. When using electric tools in combination with water or coolant, a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) is required. Recommended operating speed is 400–600 RPM. The drill tip is not sharply pointed; it is angled to allow initial contact with the glass surface before drilling begins. Shipping weights are approximate and provided for reference only.
